I just came across a really great deal this winter with flights from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas for only $168 RT including tax! Cabo is a great spot to visit this time of year with the warm weather and beautiful beaches. San Diego is not too shabby itself but Cabo can be a great getaway for those in the surrounding areas or in Southern California looking to get away for a couple days. You can use your British Airways Avios for a short-haul flight from cities like San Francisco, Phoenix, or Las Vegas to get to San Diego for only 4,500 points.

The deal is available from now through Feb. 26th and is primarily with Spirit Airlines. Spirit is known for their carry-on baggage fees but it’s still a great savings compared to the normal fare to Cabo that can easily run north of $300 (and it’s only a 2 hour flight). Once in Cabo you can book some pretty great all-inclusive resorts or use your points to stay at one of the beautiful properties that line the coast. Another great option is AirBnB or VRBO to grab a condo for a couple of day or a week. Or just use your Barclaycard Arrival points to book a resort and get a statement credit to cover for the room!
