Uber is a car service like no other. Uber uses your phone’s GPS to detect your location and connects you with the nearest available driver. You can get picked up anywhere even if you don’t know the exact address. When you request a ride, Uber detects the nearest driver and coordinates a pickup by texting you the driver’s ETA and when he arrives. You can also call your driver through the app or message him if you need to.
