Alaska is running a buy one get one free sale, essentially saving you 50% off your flight (plus taxes). It looks like, however, you can book a flight for one person and still get the savings! I’m seeing flights between Los Angeles and JFK for as low as $72 in economy one way or $307 in first class one way!

Granted Alaska doesn’t have the best transcontinental first class when you consider must other domestic airlines have lie-flat seats, however first class between LA and JFK at ~$300 is still a great deal and flying in economy for ~$70 each way can’t be beat!
