The Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel
The Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, and part of the Hilton Collection, is known as the “Jewel of the desert” and has hosted every President from Herbert Hoover to George W. Bush. It is one of the largest hotels in Arizona, set on 39 lush acres in the heart of Phoenix. The hotel is one of few hotels worldwide with an architectural imprint by Frank Lloyd Wright and is a 2014 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award recipient.
Now that we got that out of the way, it is safe to say that the Biltmore is not only a beautiful, luxurious, and modern hotel, but also one with plenty of history. I had the opportunity of staying at the hotel for a conference years ago, and I remember the grounds of the hotel and every building to be memorable and majestic to say the least.
Special Summer Rates
Searching for rates in the month of April, I don’t see anything starting from less than $399 per night. However, to celebrate the opening of their newly renovated hotel rooms, they are offering special summer rates for only $99 per night! You can book your stay any time fromJune 18 – Aug. 31 to qualify for this rate and I see availability for the weekend of July 4th!
I can attest to the fact that this is a gorgeous hotel and would make an awesome weekend getaway with your family.
Getting There
You can find a ton of flights to Phoenix using British Airways Avios (as Phoenix was a hub of US Airways and now American Airlines), which is a partner of the Oneworld Alliance. You can fly roundtrip from Los Angeles to Phoenix for only 9,000 BA points!
You can transfer points from your Chase Ultimate Rewards program or earn points directly with the Chase British Airways Card, which has a 50,000 sign up bonus good enough for at least 11 short haul flights. Learn more about these and other Airline, Hotel, & Frequent Flyer Credit Card Offers.
Conclusion
If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway at a really impressive property for an amazing price, this is the deal for you!
Thanks for the post! With the taxes and “resort fee” it’s $142.58 but nevertheless and excellent rate, especially for 7/4
Room Subtotal 99.00
Resort Charge $28.00 USD per room per night
28.00
Room + Resort Charge 127.00
Taxes 12.27 % per room per night
15.58
Total for stay 142.58
Thanks for clarifying the additional fees, still a great deal!
has anyone actually stayed there? The recent reviews on TripAdvisor are pretty miserable. Though the average comes to 4 stars, bulk of the recent reviews are pretty bad.
It sounds like the newly renovated rooms might be worth checking out!
