Southwest Airlines Consumer & Business Credit Cards With 50,000 Point Sign Up Bonus Is Back

I haven’t seen this advertised yet by any of the other travel/credit card reward bloggers, probably because they won’t receive a commission for it yet. Luckily I don’t receive commission for credit cards promoted by Chase! Anywho, I came across this link that shows a 50,000 point sign up bonus for all of the Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Cards that seemed to have vanished in recent months. However, people are reporting being approved for these cards and receiving the 50,000 point sign up offer.

The deal only requires you to spend $2,000 in 3 months in order to receive the 50k sign up offer. The annual fee is only $69 and you receive an additional 3,000 points on your cardmember anniversary.

Southwest Airlines Companion Pass:

These cards are extremely important to have 50k sign up bonuses if you’re trying to earn the free Southwest Airlines Companion Pass. Southwest has a great perk that if you earn 110,000 points in a calendar year, you receive a free companion pass for the rest of that year and the complete following year as well. Thus, it’s ideal to try to earn these points and the beginning of a year to maximize almost 2 year’s worth of a free companion pass. If you are able to apply for 2 cards and meet the minimum spend, you will have already earned 104,000 of the necessary 110,000 points needed to receive your companion pass. With Amazon Payments, this should be a piece of cake to achieve for anyone.

A companion pass, once received, must be designated to a specific person and can be changed up to 3 times after that point. Whenever you book a ticket, either with money or points on Southwest Airlines, your companion can fly with you for free. With 110,000 points thats a looot of free trips! With these 50,000 point sign up offers, achieving the 110,000 point goal has never been easier.

Comment below if you’ve had any success or trouble signing up for these credit cards and receiving the 50k sign up bonus. Let us know if it worked for you!

Good luck and fly free…do it for me!
