I’ve written in the past about JetSuite’s “SuitDeals” offering procurement of their private jets at deeply discounted rates. With the need to get their planes from one destination to another, JetSuite is able to offer private flights from as little as $536 for up to 6 people – or ~$89 per person. I love frequenting the “SuiteDeals” page on the JetSuite site just to fantasize about the destinations they’re offering and to determine how spontaneous I’m feeling on a given day. Sample flights include: Santa Barbara – San Diego, Santa Monica – Las Vegas, New York – Philadelphia, etc.

Today, I noticed a link on the “SuiteDeals” page with an offer to Fly to Coachella. JetSuite is partnering up with StubHub to offer two packages to Bay Area residents for the upcoming Coachella festival in mid-April:

The packages are being offered for Round-trip travel on a private JetSuite plane from San Jose Mineta Airport to Jacqueline Cochran Desert Resorts Regional Airport Departing Friday, April 15, 9AM and Returning Monday, April 18, 9AM. This dealer is exclusive for Weekend 1 of Coachella and it seems to be a pretty great value if you ask me.

Breakdown:

If you don’t already have a ticket to the Coachella music festival, secondary market pricing on StubHub has the cheapest general admission ticket available for $473 but StubHub’s fees = $563.38. The cheapest direct roundtrip flight from the Bay Area to Palm Springs airport is $557. Not only does the private jet allow you to skip the hassles of flying commercial, it includes the convenience of flying at the best times for the festival while arriving right in the heart of the Coachella Valley. Oh, and let’s not forget the free Wi-Fi, champagne, in-flight entertainment, and bragging rights you’ll have over all of your friends.
