JetSuite is a private jet airline that charters flights on its fleet of Embraer Phenom 100s and Cessna Citation CJ3 jets. The company offers wifi-enabled private flights throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Unlike many of its counterparts, JetSuite does not require membership or ownership fees and is the only private jet charter company that offers guaranteed online pricing.
Every day, JetSuite has a “Daily Deals” section on their website that lists destinations in which you and 4-7 other people can fly private for as little as $77 per person! JetSuite needs to get their planes from one destination to another in order to fulfill the demands of their customers who need to fly from one city to another. In order for JetSuite to cover the fuel costs of bringing the plane from the city it is currently in, to the city in which the customer wants to depart from, they offer great deals for people to fly private for a fraction of the cost.
Flights are posted each day for departures on the following day, and you must agree to the time slot that JetSuite posts. I’ve been tempted to jump on some flights that have left from my city in Southern California and head to Las Vegas the next day with some friend on a whim. It’s not a pipe dream any longer! So if you’re flexible enough and have some friends who are ready to jump on a plane with you the next day, this is definitely a “Suite Deal.”
And how many people can say they’ve flown on a private jet?!
*JetSuite earned the ARG/US Platinum safety rating – the highest-level safety audit rating in private aviation – in 2010 and has maintained it since for its flight safety standards. During 2011, the company’s jets flew over 10,000 times.
In 2011, Singapore Airlines partnered with JetSuite to offer private jet connections between international flights landing in Houston (IAH), Los Angeles (LAX),San Francisco (SFO), New York (JFK), and Newark (EWR) for its premium passengers.
Pretty sure the $536 price only covers their 4 seater planes. I don’t think I have ever seen a $536 price for 7 people (but then again, I am not looking all the time!). Which route did you see the $77 per person pricing on?
I’ve seen a lot of 7 seat options lately. I don’t see any for tomorrow but if you check from time to time you’ll definitely see some routes posted for 7.
What about a return flight?
For short-haul flights British Airways is a great option. If you were to jump on a private jet from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, you could fly right back for only 4,500 points!
why in the world would I psy $500 to fly from Scottsdale, AZ to Glendale, AZ?
Haha they have some pretty ridiculous ones. I’ve seen LAX to Santa Monica!
Is the total price divided by the number of seats?
$536 is the total price for the flight and if you get up to 6 other people you can split it. Otherwise $536 gets you a private jet for up to 4-7 people.
Do they ever have any flights on the east coast? Like out of EWR, JFK, etc.?
They usually have a bunch of flights on the east coast though never/rarely from a large airport like EWR or JFK. You’ll most likely find flights from Teterboro or the Hamptons or something similar.
The glaring flaw in this article is that the prices quoted are for the flight portion only, and do not include airport fees and federal excise tax. For example, in the Palm Springs to San Jose example, add more than $800 in airport fees plus 7.5% on the whole total (about another $100), so the flight for four is about $350 per person. A little harder to convince 3+ of your friends to leave on very short notice for those prices.
The only additional fee I noticed in the terms and conditions was the federal excise tax, which they mention is including in the SuiteDeal. So I’m not sure if that’s on top of the booking or if it’s included. There’s no mention of any airport fee and it says that the $536 covers the whole jet.
is $77 for one side ticket or it also for return ticket
Am sure the offer might have changed…or does it exist? I also wonder if it includes return ticket….
Empty leg flight are a great way to fly a private jet for a low price.
